The last millimetre
The last millimetre is the first thing people touch.
A cabinet is judged by its door, and a door by its edge. It should feel continuous with the surface, hold its colour under light, and still be intact after a hundred thousand openings.
We make edge banding for furniture factories, distributors and contract suppliers who cannot afford a shade that drifts between batches. One colour library, one standard, from the first sample to the last container.
Our storyThe range
Five ways to finish an edge.
Every line draws on the same colour library, so a specification can mix materials without mixing shades.
PVC edge banding0.4–3.0 mm · up to 64 mm
The everyday workhorse: tough, consistent, and available in every finish we make.
02
ABS edge banding0.8–2.0 mm · plasticizer-free
For furniture where impact resistance, low odour and a clean cut matter most.
03
Acrylic edge banding1.0–2.0 mm · high gloss
Depth of colour and a mirror finish for retail, hospitality and premium joinery.
04
Soft-touch & 3DTactile surfaces · super-matt
Fingerprint-resistant surfaces with the quiet, velvety hand that sells furniture.
05
Profiles & U-channelCustom sections · matched colours
Soft-edge profiles, tabletop edging and U-channels, extruded to your section.
Colour library
1,200 decors. One reference standard.
Whites that stay white, greys that do not turn blue, woodgrains that line up across a run. Two dozen of the most-requested decors below.
Swatches shown are illustrative screen colours. Physical samples are the reference — we send them free, you cover the courier.
Colour matching
Send the board. We’ll find the edge.
Most furniture makers already know the surface they are building with. What they need is an edge that disappears into it — same hue, same depth, same reaction to light.
Send a board sample
A 100 × 100 mm offcut is enough: MFC, HPL, laminate or PVC film. Courier collect if you prefer.
We read the surface
Gloss level, grain direction, base tone and how the material shifts under warm and cool light.
Match, then adjust
A match in seven days, with a spectral reading and a physical sample for your approval.
Hold the standard
The recipe is recorded. Re-orders keep the same colour standard, batch after batch.
Applications
Where our edges end up.
Kitchens, wardrobes, offices and shopfitting — the same material, specified to very different tolerances.
Quality
Tested before it is trusted.
Edge banding fails quietly: a lifted corner, a shade that yellows, a roll that measures 0.75 mm. Our checks are designed to catch exactly those failures before a container is booked.
Logistics
Packed for the distance.
Edge banding is light, bulky and easily crushed. Cartons are lined against moisture, rolls are braced, and pallets are stacked to survive a sea freight cycle.

The company
A small factory with a long memory for colour.
Canege is based in Suzhou, in the furniture belt west of Shanghai. We extrude, print, lacquer and slit edge banding for furniture makers and distributors — and we keep every colour recipe we have ever approved.
Being close to the board manufacturers our customers use means samples travel quickly in both directions: their surface to our line, our edge back to their board.
